Beef and Egg Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 4 hamburger buns or Kaiser rolls, split and buttered

Directions

  1. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender.
  2. Drain any fat from beef.
  3. Blend eggs and water together and pour over beef mixture.
  4. Cook over low heat just until eggs are set.
  5. Lift cooked portions with a spatula, turn to cook eggs evenly.
  6. Serve on buns
