Garlic Roasted Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. green beans
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450 deg. F.
  2. Wash beans and trim ends. Place beans and garlic in a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet. Coat beans and garlic with cooking spray; toss well.
  3. Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over beans and garlic. Sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning.
  4. Bake, uncovered at 450º for about 10 minutes or until beans are crisp tender, stirring 1/2 way through cook time.

Notes

Instead of heating the oven on a hot day, you can prepare this dish in a skillet on the stove top over medium heat.
