Bourbon Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Bourbon whiskey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon course ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 2 flank steaks, ( 1 1/2 lb. each) well trimmd
Directions
- In a 2 gallon sized ziploc® bag, add water, sugar, Bourbon, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
- Add steak and marinate at least 4 hours, turning occasionally.
- Remove steaks and DISCARD MARINADE.
- Heat grill to medium heat and cook approximately 20 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Cook time includes 4 hours to marinate.
