Ornament Dough

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Cornstarch
- 1 1/4 Cups Water
- Food Coloring - Optional
Directions
- In a sauce pan, combine the baking soda and cornstarch and then add the water.
- If desired, add food coloring
- While cooking over medium heat, stir constantly, until the mixture is like wet mashed potatoes.
- Pour the mixture onto a plate or baking dish and cover with a damp cloth.
- Allow the mixture to cool, then knead until smooth.
- Use Cookie Cutters or a knife to achieve desired shapes. Use a drinking straw to create a hole for ribbon to hang with.
- Air dry over night or heat for 15 minutes at 250 degrees. If not dry continue heating in 5 minute intervals.
- Paint or decorate as desired.
