Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. broiler or fryer chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon salad oil
- 2 medium celery stalks, cut into 3/4'' pieces
- 1 large onion, cut into 1/2'' slices
- 1 chicken flavor bouillon cube or granules
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into 1/4'' pieces
- 1 (10 oz.) package frozen cut green beans
Directions
- In a 12'' skillet over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook chicken until browned on all sides; spoon off fat from skillet. Add celery, onion, bouillon, salt and water. Over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
- Add zucchini and frozen green beans; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes or until chicken, zucchini pieces and cut green beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
