Quick 'N' Easy Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (24oz.) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 can (10oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (2.8oz.each)french fried onions

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º
  2. In a heavy skillet cook beef with salt until browned, stirring to break into small pieces. With slotted spoon, transfer beef to a large bowl. Add potatoes, soup, sour cream, cheese and chopped onion; mix well.
  3. Spray a 13''X9'' baking dish with nonstick spray. Spread mixture into baking dish and bake 30 minutes. Top with fried onions and bake additional 15 minutes or until bubbly.
