Bacon Topped Pork Chops

Baked pork chops with a garlic brown sugar topping, bacon, and cheese
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 4 slices of thick cut bacon
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup French's fried onions
- Parsley
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 deg F
- Mix the brown sugar and garlic in a small bowl
- Line a 9x13 baking dish with foil
- Gently tenderize pork chops and place in baking dish with a little room between each
- Spread the brown sugar and garlic mix evenly over the top of each chop
- Cut bacon slices in half and cover tops of pork chops
- Bake for 30-35 minutes
- If needed, turn to broil to reach desired crisp on bacon
- Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle with parsley and bake for 10 min or broil for 3 minutes
- Top with French's onions and bake or broil until they start to darken.
