Fathead Pizza Dough

The most amazing low carb dough. Use for pizza, Bagel dogs, bagels, buns, crackers and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella
  • 3/4 Cup Finely Sifted Almond Flour
  • 2 TBSP Cream Cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • Garlic Salt (optional)

Directions

  1. For Pizza: Preheat Oven to 425 deg F
  2. Put Mozzarella and Cream Cheese in a microwave safe bowl.
  3. microwave for 45 seconds on high. Stir. Another 30 seconds if needed to fully melt cheese.
  4. Stir in beaten egg and almond flour. Use a rubber spatula to prevent sticking.
  5. You may need to knead by hand to fully mix but be careful, it's hot!
  6. For pizza Dough:
  7. lightly wet hands and spread dough onto parchment paper (not wax paper!) you can try rolling but I find finger pressing and spreading works best.
  8. Work until about 1/4'' thick. Use a fork to poke holes in the dough to avoid bubbles.
  9. Lightly sprinkle with garlic salt.
  10. bake @ 425 deg F for 8 minutes. Check for and pop any bubbles. Continue baking for 4-6 minutes (12-14 minutes total)
  11. Add sauce, cheese and toppings and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted to your liking.
  12. For Bagel Dogs - Preheat oven to 400 deg F.
  13. Make the dough as above. Separate into 4 even balls. Spread dough into rectangles and wrap around dogs, pinching and sealing edges. Do Not pre-bake dough. Once dogs are wrapped, brush the tops with egg wash or melted butter. Add coarse salt or everything bagel spice mix and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
