Pomegranate Lime Margarita

Ingredients

  • 4 Oz Pomegranate Juice
  • 1 1/2 Oz Silver Tequila
  • 1/2 Oz Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
  • 1 Oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice (1 large lime)
  • 1 Oz Simple Syrup
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • Fine Sea Salt
  • Granulated Sugar

Directions

  1. Simple Syrup: Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Turn off heat and stir in 1/2 cup granulated sugar until dissolved. Cool/refrigerate for up to 1 week.
  2. Mix equal parts fine sea salt and granulated sugar for glass rim. Rub rim with lime and dip in salt mix.
  3. Add Pomegranate Juice, Lime Juice, Tequila, Cointreau and simple syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake for 20 seconds. Strain into glass with ice and add pomegranate seeds to glass and lime wedge for garnish.
