Mango Habanero Basil Margarita

Ingredients
- 3 Oz Mango Juice (or Nectar)
- 1 Oz Silver Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Cointreau
- 1 Oz Lime Juice (1 large lime)
- 1 Oz Habanero Syrup
- 2 Thai Basil leaves, torn into pieces plus a small sprig for garnish
- Coarse Sea Salt mixed with chili powder for color
- 4 blueberries
- Coarse Sea Salt
Directions
- Habanero syrup: bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. turn heat down to low/med and stir in 1/2 cup granulated sugar until dissolved. Add 1 Habanero sliced in half and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool/Refrigerate up to 1 week.
- Run lime wedge around edge of glass and dip/roll in salt mix.
- Add Mango Juice, Tequila, Cointreau, Lime Juice, Habanero Syrup and basil leaves to a shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Strain into glass with ice and add blueberries and Basil for garnish.
