A semi re-creation of the classic Chick Fil-A sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 cup dill pickle juice (pickling spices drained through fine sieve)
- 1 1/2 cups milk, divided
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon confectioners sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Peanut oil for frying
Directions
- Soak chicken breasts in pickle juice overnight
- Combine dry ingredients into a shallow pie plate or gallon size zip lock bag and set aside
- Drain pickle juice from chicken and combine with 1/2 cup milk
- In a separate shallow dish combine remaining 1 cup of milk and egg.
- Dip chicken into the milk and egg mixture, then into the combined dry ingredients.
- Fry in peanut oil heated to 350ยบ 4-5 minutes until crispy

Walmart may carry bottled pickle juice without the pickles
