In honor of the LLWS, we’re going waaaaaaay back
I was not great at baseball as a kid.
In fact, I was so dismally bad at it, that in retrospect I’m pretty sure the only reason my mother kept enrolling me in Little League was to get me out of the house.
To this day, I will still flail and flinch when catching a ball — they’re very hard and hurt when they hit you — and when I try to throw, I spike the ball directly into the ground. I call it a spike curve. It’s unhittable.
