On this day in 2014...

In game two of the 2014 NLCS, and the Cardinals and Giants were tied going into the ninth inning. The game had gone back and forth, with the Cardinals taking the lead in the inning prior on a Matt Adams home run, only for that lead to disappear the next half inning. The Cardinals actually clubbed four home runs that game, one each of the final three in the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings, which brings us back to Kolten Wong.
