Veteran right-hander Doug Fister announced his retirement after spending parts of 10 seasons in the majors, agent Page Odle tells Jon Morosi of MLB.com.  Fister, 35, received multiple major-league contract offers this winter, according to Odle, but instead is making a “100 percent family-driven” decision to spend time with his wife and two children.
