The Smokies romp past the Lookouts, but the team holds their breath after Nico Hoerner was hit by a pitch.

Let me get the bad news out of the way. Tonight in Tennessee, Nico Hoerner was hit with a pitch and left the game. The Smokies are saying that the ball hit him in the forearm, which is good news as compared to being hit in the wrist, which is what it looked like on video.
