This move had been expected, but it still took some time. The Athletics announced today that slugger Khris Davis is going to the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 22nd. In the announcement, the club cited a “left hip/oblique contusion.” It still isn’t known just how long Davis will be down, but the hope remains it won’t be an exceedingly long absence.
