Move from David Amerson was a bit unexpected from the Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals made a bit of a surprising move yesterday, announcing that they were releasing cornerback David Amerson.

Amerson was expected to compete for the starting cornerback position opposite Robert Alford, with Patrick Peterson’s six-game suspension. He signed with the Cardinals in November of last year.
