If you missed it, or just want to cry a bit more

Before the game today, the Twins retired Joe Mauer’s number seven. Many of his former teammates were on hand, and there was a moving tribute video as well. In classic Mauer fashion, the weekend’s festivities were heavily tied into the Gillette Children’s Hospital. The whole thing culminated with Joe on the opposite end of a battery, throwing out the first pitch to his dad.
