Jason Vargas leaves Mets’ Sunday afternoon game early

Vargas fouled a ball off his foot and left the game.

On the same day that they placed Noah Syndergaard on the injured list with a hamstring injury, the Mets lost Jason Vargas early in their series finale today when he fouled a ball off his foot. Whether or not he suffered a significant injury is unknown at this time.
