In the fifth Democratic debate, presidential candidate Andrew Yang seemed to coast on a crowd-pleasing solution to the cost of child care. But his plan would fall short.

In the last 20 years of presidential debates there have been about 4,000 questions. But only seven have been about paid leave, and a mere three have been about child care. This is according to Time’s Up CEO Tina Tchen from her organization’s own analysis.
