Home runs from Tapia and Dahl weren’t enough to mount comebacks in either game

Game 1: Sim Diamondbacks 5, Sim Rockies 3

As was the case on Sunday, the Rockies were unable to mount a comeback after giving up five early runs in Game 1 of the doubleheader yesterday. Jon Gray was heavily out-dueled by Madison Bumgarner, who pitched seven scoreless innings and earned Player of the Game honors.
