PlayStation 4 sales have surpassed 112 million units, Sony announced today as part of its quarterly earnings report.
During the first quarter of its fiscal year (April 1–June 30), Sony
reported PS4 sales of 1.9 million units, bringing its lifetime sales total to 112.3 million. The year-over-year decrease — Sony sold 3.2 million PS4s during the same time frame in 2019 — was expected considering the approaching
launch of PlayStation 5.
