Helm is likely Reed’s replacement

The San Francisco 49ers are bringing back tight end Daniel Helm, who the team waived before training camp, as Jordan Reed is expected to miss six to eight weeks. Helm—who was on Tampa Bay’s practice squad— likely will replace Reed, but I wonder if he replaces rookie Charlie Woerner, who has struggled as a blocker early on this season, on the active roster.
