Righty Pablo Lopez took the mound for the Marlins and issued a leadoff base hit to left-center to Tommy Edman on a high hanging 1-1 cutter. But Edman was quickly erased when Paul Goldschmidt hit a hard grounder to Jesus Aguilar towards the first base line.
