Cubs roster moves: Kyle Ryan recalled, Cory Abbott optioned, Robert Stock DFA

The bullpen merry-go-round continues.

The Cubs have added another lefthander to the bullpen Sunday. Kyle Ryan was recalled from Triple-A Iowa.

Cory Abbott, who threw 65 pitches Saturday, was optioned to Iowa. To make room on the 40-man roster for Ryan, Robert Stock was designated for assignment.

Ryan begins his fourth stint with the Cubs this season and has no record with a 3.38 ERA in three relief appearances, walking two and striking out two....
