A man who assaulted officers during the Capitol riot was sentenced to more than 3 years in prison. Nicholas Languerand, an ex-Army private, received a 44-month sentence earlier this week. Prosecutors say Langeruand threw several dangerous items at law enforcement on January 6, 2021.
