US stocks rose slightly on Wednesday before the Federal Reserve released minutes from its June meeting.  Investors "remain on high alert" following a late-stage rebound in the previous session, said Interactive Investor.  Minutes from the Fed's June meeting that featured a rate hike of 75 basis points were due at 2 p.m. Eastern.
