Rosters will now go straight from 90 players to 53

On Tuesday, the National Football League made a rule as to how teams are made to conduct business during Training Camp and the preseason.

The league passed a rule that says there is no longer a deadline for teams to reduce their rosters from 90 players to 53. In the past, there has been a deadline. . .usually after the third preseason game. . .where the team had to trim their roster to 75 players as a precursor to the final cut to 53....
