The New York Jets have signed edge defender David Bass and released linebacker Freddie Bishop.

David Bass, is a 27 year old, 6'4", 267-pound edge defender out of Missouri Western State University who was originally drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the 233rd pick in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL draft.
