In the midst of the Reds’ “throw rookie pitchers at the wall and see what sticks” streak, they’re putting Homer Bailey out there tonight. He might have as much to prove as anyone in the rotation right now, as he really needs to prove that he’s back healthy and that he can put together some consistent starts going forward if he’s going to be part of this staff next year.
