The NCAA Tournament will trim its ranks from 24 down to the Sweet 16 with Sunday’s conclusion of the second round, with nearly everyone looking forward to what UMBC can do for an encore.

The Retrievers not only beat No. 1 Virginia on Friday night to become the first men’s No. 16 seed to win a first-round game, but it was a blowout. UMBC won by 20, one of the largest point differentials in the opening round.
