Fried Cheese Meltaways

Ingredients
- 1 cup bisquick
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- l lb. mozzarella, cheddar or colby jack cheese, cut into 3/4'' cubes
- Oil for frying
Directions
- Heat oil to 375ºF.
- Beat together the bisquick, milk and egg until smooth.
- Insert a wooden toothpick into each cube and dip into batter until completely covered.
- Fry several cubes at a time, turning until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels
