Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup scalded milk
  • 4 teaspoons Cafe' Francais instant coffee
  • 4 teaspoons caramel ice cream topping, divided
  • Whipped cream or 2 tablespoons Cool Whip, thawed

Directions

  1. Gradually add milk to flavored coffee in mug, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Stir in 3 teaspoons of the caramel topping until well blended.
  3. Top with whipped cream and remaining caramel topping.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

To scald milk: pour milk into a saucepan. Bring just to a simmer on medium heat. DO NOT BOIL MILK.
