Chocolate Latte

A lot less pricey than a coffee house - and you can add alcohol for an after dinner treat
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cups strong coffee or espresso
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup warm frothed milk
- prepared caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup whiskey, optional
Directions
- Heat half and half in a saucepan over medium high heat (Do not boil)
- Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, coffee, chocolate syrup, vanilla and, if desired, whiskey.
- Pour into glass mugs or coffee cups and top with warm frothed milk and a drizzle of caramel sauce
