Maple Glazed Acorn Squash

Ingredients
- 2 large acorn squashes
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF. Cut each squash lengthwise in half and discard seeds. Cut each half lengthwise into 3 wedges.
- In a glass measuring cup, combine maple syrup, butter, salt and cinnamon.
- Place squash wedges, flesh side down in a jelly roll pan or a pan with sides. Pour syrup mixture over squash.
- Cover pan with foil and bake about 30 minutes or until tender, turning squash once halfway through baking.
- Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer or until glaze thickens slightly.
