Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 4 teaspoons chopped onion
- 4 cloves chopped garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons Pernod (Anise flavored liqueur)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3/4 cup white cooking wine
- 1 1/2 lbs. shrimp, shelled and cleaned
- Flour
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions
- Toss shrimp with flour and dry spices
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Cook shrimp very fast, about 3 minutes per side. Drain oil except 1 teaspoon.
- Saute' onion until opague then add lemon juice, Pernod and white wine. Stir well.
- Add garlic and butter and toss shrimp quickly.
- Serve when butter is melted.
