General Confusions Fried Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 cups vegetable or canola oil, heated to 375 degrees F
- 1 broiler chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 2 eggs whites, beaten
- 3/4 cup Bisquick
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- pinch of cayenne pepper
Directions
- Combine all the seasonings in a pie plate. Place chicken pieces into dry mixture and then roll them in the egg white, then back again in the seasonings mix.
- Cook 2-3 pieces at a time. DO NOT COVER PAN
- Cook legs and thighs about 18 minutes
- Cook breasts and wings about 15 minutes.
- Chicken coating will be dark brown.
