Chocolate Turtles

Ingredients
- 1 (12oz.) bag caramels
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate pieces
- 1 cup (4oz.) semi sweet chocolate pieces
Directions
- In a saucepan or double boiler, combine caramels and milk and melt over boiling water. Add vanilla and pecans, stirring until mixed. Remove from heat and drop by teaspoons onto a greased sheet of waxed paper. Let candies cool.
- In a saucepan or double boiler, melt the chocolates and vanilla stirring frequently for a smooth consistency. Keep chocolate warm enough to stay smooth.
- Dip cooled candies into chocolate, shaking off excess and place on the waxed paper to cool.
