Chicken Jamestown

Prep Time: 10 minutes || Cook Time: 1 hours 30 minutes || Total: 100 Minutes
Servings: 6 || Yields: 6 chicken breasts
Baked chicken that is covered with cheese and stuffing.

Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken Breasts skinned boned and halved
  • 12 Slices of American Cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz. white wine
  • 1 package (8 oz) of stuffing crumbs (not cubes)
  • 1 stick butter, melted

Directions

  1. Tuck ragged edges of chicken breasts under to form neat pieces and place into 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Top each chicken breast half with one slice of cheese
  3. Combine soup and wine and pour over chicken and cheese.
  4. Cover completely with crumbs.
  5. Drizzle butter over top fully.
  6. Bake at 325 uncovered for 1 1/2 hours

Notes

Can substitute stuffing with Gluten Free stuffing.
