Stuffed Clam Shells

Broiler quick baked clams

Ingredients

  • 4-6 clam shells
  • 1 6.5 oz can minced clams (do not drain)
  • 1/3-1/2 cup bread crumbs (more as needed to get consistency)
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning (optional)
  • Paprika

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients (except paprika) together and heat in a skillet about 5 minutes. Mixture should be wet but hold its shape when scooped. If too wet, add more bread crumbs.
  2. Fill each shell and sprinkle tops with paprika.
  3. Place shells in a baking dish with 1/2 inch of water.
  4. Broil 5-10 minutes until bubbly and tops start to slightly crisp.

Notes

If using pre seasoned breadcrumbs, cut the parsley and oregano to 1 tsp each.
