Crock Pot Style Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb. boneless pork loin roast
  • 1 tablespoon bacon grease
  • Seasoned Salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • Dried Thyme
  • 1/2 cup apple juice

Directions

  1. Melt bacon fat in a skillet and brown the pork roast well on both sides on medium-high heat.
  2. Remove from skillet. Sprinkle fat side with seasoned salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried Thyme.
  3. Place fat side down in a slow cooker. Sprinkle top with seasonings as before. Pour the apple juice around the edge of the roast and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until pork is fork tender.
