Lemon Buttered Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cut tough ends and scales from asparagus. In a 12'' skillet over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter.
  2. Add asparagus, salt and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  3. Cover and cook asparagus until tender crisp, about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
