Beer Battered Fish

Ingredients

  • Oil for frying
  • 1 lb. fresh fish fillets
  • 3-4 tablespoons Bisquick
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup beer

Directions

  1. Heat oil to 325º
  2. Lightly coat fish with the 3-4 tablespoons of Bisquick.
  3. Mix remaining 1 cup of Bisquick, egg, salt and beer until smooth. Dip fish into batter, letting excess drip into bowl.
  4. Fry until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
