Sausage Stuffing

An alternative to cornbread stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. mild pork sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 pkg. Pepperridge Farm herb stuffing mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups water

Directions

  1. Saute sausage and onion. Season with salt, pepper and Thyme.
  2. Combine 2 eggs and 2 cups water to the sausage mix and blend. Add these ingredients to a large bowl with the stuffing mix and mix well. If mixture is too stiff, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.
