Shrimp Pilaf St. Augustine

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup diced salt pork
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. cooked shrimp
  • 1 cup hot cooked rice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Fry salt pork until well browned and crisp. Remove pork and cook onion and pepper in the fat.
  2. Add pork, shrimp and rice. Season to taste and simmer 10 minutes.
