Beef with Egg Noodles

Tender beef and gravy served over egg noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs sirloin tips or cubed stew meat
  • 1/4 cup Flour plus 2 tbsp
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp Maggi seasoning or kitchen bouquet
  • 2 cups beef bullion
  • 2 cups vegetable bullion

Directions

  1. Mix about 1/4 cup flour with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
  2. Stir in beef to coat
  3. Heat about 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
  4. Brown beef
  5. Place beef, broth, onion powder, garlic, turmeric and Maggi into crock pot.
  6. Cook on low for 6 hours
  7. Mix 2 tbsp flour with 5 tbsp warm water
  8. Slowly stir in flour/water and cook about 10 more minutes until thickened. Add additional Maggi or kitchen bouquet to taste.
  9. Cook egg noodles per package directions and serve beef over noodles.
