Spanish Rice

MEXICAN / SPANISH RICE (Traditional & Easy Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 1Tsp onion powder
  • Pinch oregano
  • 1/2 Tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp boullion chicken
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup Sauce tomato
  • 2 cups chicken broth warmed

Directions

  1. Brown rice with oil in heavy cast iron pan stirring evenly on medium high heat.
  2. Add sauce
  3. Add spices and toast them
  4. Add broth.
  5. Cover with lid and don’t stir. Keep lid on at least 10 mins at low heat and allow to simmer.
