Sugar and Spice Almonds

A sweet and savory snack
Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 Cups natural whole almonds
- 3 Tablespoons light corn syrup
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 deg F
- Coat a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a cup or small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and set aside.
- In a small bowl, stir together almonds and corn syrup until almonds are well coated.
- Add sugar mixture to almond mixture, stirring until ingredients are well combined.
- Spread onto greased baking sheet and bake about 10 minutes or until sugar coasting is bubbly and almonds are browned.
- Let cool on baking sheet to room temperature.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and to separate almonds.
- Store in airtight container.
