Buttermilk Salad Dressing

Servings: 3-4 || Yields: 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup packed fresh Italian parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup packed coarsely chopped dill
  • 1 green onion, cut into 1/2'' pieces
  • 1 small clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in food processor or blender
  2. Mix until finely blended
  3. Add buttermilk and oil; blend until emulsified.
  4. Season with pepper.
  5. Transfer dressing to jar with tight fitting lid
  6. Refrigerate overnight. Whisk before serving

Notes

Adjust seasonings before serving if necessary
