Ingredients
1 lb. boneless top sirloin, 1'' thick
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh sliced ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon dark roasted sesame seed oil
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup green onions
Directions
Combine ingredients in a plastic bag and shake to mix well.
Add meat and marinate 15 minutes. Reserve marinade.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add steak and cook 12-15 minutes, turning once. Remove steak and keep warm.
Dissolve 2 teaspoons cornstarch in marinade and 1/4 cup water. Add to skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, stirring constantly.
Carve steak into thin slices and serve over rice. Sprinkle with green onions as a garnish.
